Lace on Lace
I recently told my husband that I'm not going shop for "a long time". To be perfectly honest, I don't know what constitutes "a long time" but I'm going to try and stick to my word! Especially after organizing my closet and rediscovering way too many items that I had forgotten about. Case in point, this lace top and skirt. Since I'm a huge fan of scalloped lace, I decided to pair the two pieces together. My cargo jacket (also old), was the perfect cover up that not only provided extra warmth, but also added an edgy touch that balanced out my feminine ensemble. Can you believe the skirt, top AND shoes are all from Forever 21?

I love it! The scalloped lace is so pretty and the jacket gives it all a more masculine touch. I'm on a shopping ban too! Unless I come across an amazing pair of spring heels, I told my husband I'm done. LOL. :) We can do it! <3

This is so beautiful Audrey! You know, I used to own that F21 skirt in black! Unfortunately, it shrunk and I had to give it away. It's one of my favorite items that F21 has ever come out with. I'm hoping they do it again, maybe in fun colors ;)You look gorgeous in this.
ReplyDeleteAudrey, the two laces together look so feminine and pretty! The scalloping on that top is just lovely, really sweet detailing.
