I love when an unexpected pairing of mixed prints ends up working well together. I've had this skirt for quite some time now but never thought to wear it with my polka dot top. I typically wear it with a basic white tee or crisp button down, but always end up feeling as though something is missing. I've been experimenting more with mixing prints and have found that as long as you keep the patterns in the same color family, and offset with solid color accessories, the combination can end up looking effortless.

Gorgeous mix of patterns, and I love the way you've combined three shades of blue in the ensemble. Monochromatic, but nothing further from dull! Would love the skirt with a patterned top that's got some bright colours too.
