Week-ender

I don't know about you, but this week has felt extra long for me.  I seriously felt as if time was moving backwards at one point.  Needless to say, I'm very ready to get this weekend started.  Here are just a few things I plan on enjoying.  I hope everyone has a great one!

Chocolate chip cookies have been a major weakness for me lately...

Honeycrisp apple season has arrived.  The sweetest, most delicious apples!

  7. I'm so with you on the honey crisp apples. They are SO delicious (though unfortunately around here, also crazy expensive... actually double the cost of most apples) but I've still been putting them in anything I can think of... lately in turkey pitas, they add a great sweetness & crunch! Though I'd also take that chocolate chip cookie right about now... ;)

  9. For some reason, the Honeycrisps this year have been out of this world! Looks like you have a great afternoon snack ahead of you, an apple paired with a chocolate chip cookie, and you are ready to go! Hope the rest of your week turns up!

  15. Mmm....apples!
I was planning to make french toast topped with sautéed apples . This is the first cold weekend
in Southeast Texas so this is how I'll celebrate. Now I'm trying to pry myself away from the computer so I can go make it!
    Thanks for the extra motivation:D
    Enjoy your weekend!
