Everyday Essentials

It goes without saying that my daily routine has changed; big time.  Gone are the days of taking my time to get ready in the mornings.  I now have a small window of opportunity to shower, get dressed and quickly eat breakfast while my baby is napping.  It would be really easy to stay in my PJ's all day, but I'm a firm believer in feeling good about myself.  I make a conscious effort to do my hair (albeit a pony tail most of the time!) and put on a little bit of makeup each day.  Here are a few of my daily essentials that help me get going. 

 I seem to have the best hair days when I wash my hair at night just before bed.  This dry shampoo by Dove not only makes my hair feel fresh each morning, it smells great and gives my hair a bit of texture

A few of my favorites by Mally, MAC and Urban Decay - I love a neutral eye with a hint of shimmer
Mally's under-eye brightener (in the jar) has been a life saver - My tired eyes need all the help they can get!  
Long time favorites - Mally volumizing mascara and my ShuUmera eyelash curler

Foundation - Bare Escentuals
Blush - I like to mix "Oasis" by NARS with "Mally's Glow" by Mally
Concealer - Bare Escentuals
I finish off my look with a light dusting of Mally's Poreless Perfection Skin Finisher

 The weather has been warming up and I've been living in these sandals.
They are SO comfy and go with just about everything!

  5. Okay, the fact that you get ready and dressed with a brand new baby makes me feel like such a slacker haha. Since I work from home, I rarely get out of my loungewear lol. Gotta work on that ;)

  8. When our babies weren't sleeping through the night, I would wash my hair the night before, too. It makes the morning soooo much easier. And, I would apply the dry shampoo at night, too. I would wash, blow dry, and spray the dry shampoo where I know my scalp would get oily. I would wake up with fluffy, clean hair in the morning!
